بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

السيدات والسادة الحضور،

نجتمع اليوم، في تقليد سنوي متجدد، للاحتفاء بانتصار – كان وسيظل – علامة فارقة في تاريخ وطننا العزيز .. معبراً عن إرادة أمة، حولت الهزيمة إلى نصر، ورفعت أعلام مصر على أرض سيناء .. في ملحمة سطرها الجيش والشعب، ليحفروا في ذاكرة هذا الوطن بطولات النصر، الذي نفخر به.. جيلاً بعد جيل.

ورغم مرور واحد وخمسين عاماً، مازال معين نصر أكتوبر، يفيض بالعبر والدروس والتجارب، التي نستلهم منها رؤيتنا لحاضرنا ومستقبلنا .. وتؤكد لنا، أن التخطيط العلمي والتنفيذ الدقيق والتكاتف أمام التحديات، هو السبيل المضمون لتحقيق الأهداف .. وهذه رسالة متكررة من الشعب المصري، على مدار السنوات.. باختلاف الصعاب والتحديات.

الحضور الكريم،
لقد سجل التاريخ العسكري بحروف من نور، عظمة انتصار أكتوبر، إلا أنني أود التركيز اليوم، على دور الشعب المصري بأكمله، في تحقيق هذا الانتصار .. حيث قدم بجميع فئاته، مثالاً يحتذى به، في مساندة جيشه، مادياً ومعنوياً .. وأثبت أن النصر لا يتحقق فقط على جبهات القتال، وإنما يتحقق أولاً بوحدة الشعب، وصموده ووعيه وإيمانه، وإرادته في التحدي والنصر.

فقد كان نصر أكتوبر حقاً.. حكاية شعب .. حكاية آباء وأمهات، قدموا أبناءهم فداء لهذا الوطن .. حكاية زوجات وأبناء وبنات، عانوا مرارة الفراق .. حكاية كل مواطن؛ من شمال مصر لجنوبها، ومن شرقها لغربها، تحمل وصبر من أجل بلده … حكاية تجلت فيها الشخصية المصرية بكل عبقريتها، فصنعت ما كان يعتقده البعض أنه المستحيل .. لتؤكد أن هذا الشعب، يبذل الغالي والنفيس لحماية أمنه وسلامة أرضه، ضد أي تهديد أو اعتداء .. وأن القوات المسلحة، هي الدرع الحصين الذي يحمى مقدرات هذا الوطن، مدعومة بوحدة شعبها وصلابته وإرادته.

السيدات والسادة،

يحل علينا هذا العام نصر أكتوبر، في ظل أحداث متلاحقة وأوضاع مضطربة، يشهدها محيطنا الإقليمي .. تؤكد لنا من جديد، أن خيارنا للسلام العادل والمستدام، يفرض علينا الاستمرار فى بناء قدرات القوة الشاملة لهذا الوطن، كونها السبيل الوحيد لصون وحماية السـلام، وردع أى محاولة للتفكير فى الاعتـداء عليــه.

ومن هذا المنطلق، فإن مساعي مصر الدائمة، للحفاظ على الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة، تنبع من موقع القدرة والقوة، والقناعة بأن السلام العادل والشامل، يجب أن يراعي حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني وفقاً لقرارات الشرعية الدولية، والتخلى عن أوهام التوسع وسياسات العداء.. لضمان التعايش السلمي بين شعوب المنطقة، وتجنيب الأجيال القادمة ويلات الصراع.

واسمحوا لي في ختام كلمتي، بأن أتقدم بأسمى آيات التقدير، إلى أبطال مصر من شهداء القوات المسلحة، في حرب أكتوبر وجميع الحروب .. وأقول لأسرهم وذويهم: “إن شعب مصر أصيل، لا ينسى من ضحوا من أجله، وأن مصر ستظل بارة بكم، كما كان أبناؤكم بارين بها”.

كما أتوجه بالتهنئة، إلى قيادات وأبناء القوات المسلحة المصرية في عيد النصر .. فقد كنتم على مدار التاريخ، حصن الوطن، ويده الضاربة في حماية أرضه وحفظ كرامته.

وتحية من القلب إلى المواطن المصري.. صاحب الإرادة والقرار، في معادلة مواجهة التحديات وتنمية القدرات .. وأؤكد أنه بتلاحمنا وإخلاصنا ووعينا، قادرون على تجاوز الظروف الصعبة، كما تجاوزناها من قبل.. مهما كانت صعوبتها .. وفي ذات الوقت نحرص على الاستمرار في التنمية، لتحسين ظروف المعيشة ولبناء مستقبل أفضل، تحظى فيه مصر، بالمكانة اللائقة، التي تستحقها بين الأمم.

Distinguished Ladies and gentlemen,

We gather today, in a renewed annual tradition, to commemorate a victory that was and will remain a pivotal moment in the history of our beloved homeland. A victory that has reflected the will of a nation that transformed defeat into triumph and raised the flag of Egypt on the land of Sinai in an epic penned by both the army and the people. Together, they have etched the heroism of this victory into the memory of our nation, a source of pride for us, generation after generation.

Although 51 years passed, the wellspring of the October War victory continues to overflow with lessons, insights, and experiences from which we draw our vision for both our present and future. It reaffirms that scientific planning, precise execution, and united efforts in the face of challenges are the assured paths to achieving our objectives. This is a recurring message from the Egyptian people throughout the years, regardless of the difficulties and challenges.

Esteemed attendees,

The military history has recorded the grandeur of the October War victory in letters of light. However, I would like to emphasize today the role of the entire Egyptian people in achieving this triumph. All segments of society provided an exemplary model of support for their armed forces, both materially and morally, proving that victory is not achieved solely on the battlefronts Rather, it is first realized through the unity of the people, their resilience, awareness, faith, and their will to challenge and win.

Indeed, the October War victory is truly a tale of the people—the fathers and mothers who sacrificed their sons for the homeland; wives, sons, and daughters who endured the bitterness of separation. It is a tale of every citizen, from the north of Egypt to its south, and from the east to the west, who bore hardship and persevered for their country. This tale unveiled the ingenuity of the Egyptian character, achieving what some deemed impossible, proving that these people are willing to sacrifice their most valuable to protect their security and the territorial integrity of their land against any threat or aggression. The armed forces stand as the impenetrable shield that safeguards the capabilities of this nation, supported by the unity, resilience, and will of its people.

Ladies and gentlemen,

This year, the October War victory comes amidst consecutive incidents and tense conditions in our regional surroundings. This reaffirms to us once again that our choice for a just and sustainable peace necessitates our continued efforts to build the comprehensive capabilities of this nation. This is the only way to safeguard and protect peace and to deter any attempts to contemplate aggression against it.

From this standpoint, Egypt’s continuous endeavors to maintain security and stability in the region stem from a position of capability and strength, and a conviction that just and comprehensive peace must respect the rights of the Palestinian people in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions, and abandon the illusions of expansion and hostile policies. This is to ensure peaceful coexistence among the peoples of the region and spare future generations the scourges of conflict.

In conclusion, allow me to express my deepest appreciation to the heroes of Egypt, the martyrs of the Armed Forces, in the October War and in all wars. To their families and loved ones, I say: “The Egyptian people are noble and never forget those who sacrificed for them. Egypt will always honor you, just as your sons honored her.”

I also extend my greetings to the leadership and members of the Egyptian Armed Forces on this Victory Day. Throughout history, you have been the nation’s fortress and its striking arm in protecting its land and preserving its dignity.

A heartfelt salute goes to the Egyptian citizen, the one with willpower and determination in the equation of confronting challenges and enhancing capabilities. I assure you that with our cohesion, sincerity, and awareness, we are capable of overcoming difficult circumstances, as we did before, regardless of their severity. At the same time, we remain committed to continuing development to improve living conditions and to build a better future, one where Egypt secures its rightful position among nations.
