بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

شعب مصر العظيم،

أتحدث إليكم اليوم.. فى الذكرى الثانية والسبعين لثورة يوليو المجيدة.. اليوم الذي تحيى فيه مصر وشعبها الأصيل.. ذكريات أيام خالدة.. غيرت تاريخ
مصر والمنطقة.. فأنهت الاستعمار الطويل.. وأرخـت لاسـتقلال مصــر الفعلـى وســيادتها.. وألهمت شعوب العالم.. ودفعت جهودهم نحو التحرر الوطنى وشهد التاريخ لثورة يوليو.. بدور وطني وتحرري.. امتد ليؤسس المكانة الرفيعة لمصر المستقلة.. ويضع اسمها في ذرى عالية: عربياً، وإفريقياً، ودولياً.

ولعل من عادات وتقاليد الشعوب العريقة.. وعلى رأسها الشعب المصري العظيم.. التدبر في دروس التاريخ وعبره.. والتعلم من الماضي.. بإنجازاته وانكساراته.. وانتصاراته وعثراته.. لضمان استمرار مسيرة التقدم الوطني.. وتحقيق المصالح العليا للوطن.

ولقد تعلمنا من دروس ثورة يوليو وتجربتها.. عدم التفريط أبداً في الاستقلال الوطني.. وصون كرامة الوطن ومواطنيه.. وبذل أقصى الجهد.. تحت جميع الظروف.. لتعزيز العدالة الاجتماعية.. وحماية الفئات الأكثر احتياجا.

كما رسخت ثورة يوليو المجيدة.. دور مصر الفاعل، في محيطها العربي والإفريقي.. وإسهامها الكبير، في الدفاع عن حقوق ومصالح دول الجنوب.. في جميع قارات العالم وهو ما حافظت عليه مصر..من خلال دور نشط وقيادي.. في المحافل الدولية المختلفة.

وتواكبت مصر مع تغيرات الزمن.. فانفتحت على العالم.. وجاهدت لتحسين قدراتها الاقتصادية والاستثمارية، والعمرانية والصناعية واندمجت
في منظومة التجارة العالمية.. مع التركيز الدائم.. على حماية الاقتصاد الوطني بقدر المستطاع.. من تقلبات الاقتصاد العالمي وصدماته.. والعمل من خلال منظومات متكاملة وفاعلة..على توفير الحماية الاجتماعية اللازمة.

كما حافظت مصر على أرضها وسيادتها واستقلالها.. وأرست سلاماً قائماً على العدل واسترداد الأرض.. مع التمسك الراسخ والثابت.. بحقوق أشقائها ومصالحهم.. وخاصة الأشقاء الفلسطينيين.. وحماية قضيتهم العادلة من التصفية.. والعمل المكثف لمساندة حقهم المشروع.. في الدولة المستقلة ذات السيادة.

شعب مصر الأبى الكريم،

إن الواقع الإقليمي والدولي الراهن.. يفرض على مصر، وغيرها من الدول.. تحديات جديدة وأوضاعا مركبة فما بين زيادة التوتر والمواجهات الجيوسياسية.. على مستوى النظام الدولي.. إلى ما يعاني منه المحيط الإقليمي.. من انتشار الحروب والصراعات والاقتتال الأهلي.. وتمزق بعض الدول وانهيار مؤسساتها.. والأوضاع الإنسانية الكارثية، وانتشار المجاعات، والنزوح بالملايين تضيف هذه الظروف غير المسبوقة.. أعباء هائلة على مصر.. لا يخفف منها.. سوى ما أعلمه يقينا.. من قوة شعبنا العظيم.. وصلابته أمام الشدائد.. وتماسكه ووحدته.. كالبنيان.. يشد بعضه بعضا.. بما يجعلني واثقا – بإذن الله وفضله – أن مصر.. ستعبر تلك المرحلة المضطربة إقليميا ودوليا.. وستواصل تقدمها ومسيرة تنميتها وبناء دولتها.. بما يحقق تطلعاتنا جميعا.. في وطن حر كريم.. ومستقبل مشرق.. لجميع أبناء الوطن.

كل عام وأنتم بخير..
ومصر فى سلام وأمان واستقرار.
ودائما وأبدا، وبالله العظيم:

The great people of Egypt,

I address you today on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the glorious July Revolution. The day on which Egypt and its noble people revive memories of unforgettable days that changed the history of Egypt and the region. It ended a long history of colonialism and documented Egypt’s true independence and sovereignty. It inspired nations, and their efforts paved the way for national liberation. History attests to July Revolution’s patriotic and liberation role that extended to establish the esteemed status of an independent Egypt, elevating its name to high peaks across Arab, African, and international arenas.

One of the customs and traditions of ancient peoples, especially the great Egyptian people, is to reflect deeply on the lessons of history and to learn from the past, from its achievements and setbacks, its triumphs and falters to guarantee the continuation of the march towards national progress and to achieve the supreme interests of the nation. We have learned from the lessons of the July Revolution and its experience to never compromise national independence, to safeguard the dignity of the nation and its citizens and to exert utmost effort under all circumstances to reinforce social justice and protect the neediest groups.

The glorious July Revolution established Egypt’s active role within its Arabic and African surroundings and its significant contributions to defending the rights and interests of the countries of the South in all continents, which Egypt has maintained through an active and leading role in various international fora.

Egypt has kept pace with the changes of time, opening to the world and striving to enhance its economic, investment, urban, and industrial capabilities. It has integrated into the global trade system while maintaining a constant focus on protecting the national economy as much as possible from the fluctuations and shocks of the global economy. This has been achieved through comprehensive and effective systems, offering the necessary social protection.

Egypt has also safeguarded its land, sovereignty, and independence, and established peace based on justice and restoring land while firmly and steadfastly adhering to the rights and interests of its brothers, particularly the Palestinian brothers, protecting their just cause from liquidation and intensively working to support their legitimate right to an independent and sovereign state.

The noble people of Egypt,

The current regional and international reality imposes new challenges and complex situations on Egypt and other nations, ranging from increased tension and geopolitical confrontations in the international order to the situation in the regional surrounding such as the spread of wars, conflicts, civil strife, state fragmentation, institutional collapse, humanitarian catastrophes, famine outbreaks, and massive displacement.

These unprecedented circumstances add tremendous burdens on Egypt, which can only be alleviated by my firm belief in the strength, resilience, unity, and cohesion of our great people who stand as a single structure, supporting each other, in the face of adversity. This makes me confident that with the help and grace of Allah that Egypt will overcome this turbulent phase at the regional and international level, and continue its path towards progress, development, as well as building the nation. This shall fulfill our aspirations for a free, dignified homeland and a bright future for all citizens.
